Refund Policy
Last updated: September 22, 2026
This Policy supplements Section 8 of the Terms of Service. The payment provider identified on the purchase receipt determines the applicable billing-management channel. Nothing in this Policy excludes a mandatory consumer remedy or other nonwaivable right.
1Direct subscription payments
Subscriptions purchased on the Argotu website are sold by Auxerta LLC and processed by Stripe. Apple’s subscription controls do not manage those purchases. Unused portions of a monthly billing period are not ordinarily prorated or refunded, except where required by applicable law, provided under Section 8 of the Terms, or granted by Auxerta in its discretion. Cancellation of renewal and a request for refund are separate actions.
Submit billing inquiries or refund requests to contact@auxerta.com, identifying the Account email, charge date, amount, currency, receipt reference if available, and grounds for the request. Do not provide a password or full payment-card number. Contact Auxerta before disputing a charge with your card issuer where you are able to do so; Section 8.9 of the Terms of Service describes the effect of a disputed charge on Subscriber Access. This request procedure does not limit a statutory right to dispute an unauthorized charge.
2Cancellation and Account deletion
A direct subscription may be canceled through Manage subscription on the subscription page. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid period, except where a refund, revocation, or lawful Account restriction ends access earlier. If the control is unavailable, contact Auxerta for assistance.
Before completing Account deletion, Argotu attempts to cancel associated direct Stripe subscriptions. A failure to complete that cancellation may prevent completion of Account deletion and will be reported by the Service. Deleting an Account ends access to the Account and does not itself create a refund entitlement. Apple-billed subscriptions require separate cancellation under Section 3.
3iOS purchases through Apple
Manage or cancel an Apple-billed subscription through the Apple Account associated with the purchase, using Apple’s subscription controls. Instructions are available from Apple Support. Deleting the Argotu application or Account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription, and the Stripe billing portal cannot cancel it.
Submit Apple refund requests through reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple administers those requests under its applicable terms and mandatory law; see Apple’s refund procedure. Auxerta cannot guarantee Apple’s determination. This allocation of billing administration does not exclude an obligation imposed directly on Auxerta by applicable law.
4Statutory rights and paid-service changes
Applicable law may provide withdrawal, cancellation, refund, price-reduction, repair, or other remedies notwithstanding this Policy. Acceptance of the Terms alone does not waive a statutory cancellation period. Material changes to, or discontinuation of, paid benefits are governed by Section 8.6 of the Terms. A refund or entitlement revocation may end access to the affected paid benefits but does not restore previously deleted or expired content.
5Discontinuation of a paid service
Auxerta may suspend or discontinue the Service under Section 10 of the Terms. If a paid service is discontinued for reasons unrelated to User breach, the ordinary restriction on partial-period refunds does not override Section 8.6: Auxerta will provide an appropriate alternative or a refund for the unused affected portion as provided there, together with any remedy required by applicable law.
Direct subscription renewals for the discontinued service will be canceled. Apple-billed cancellation and refund requests use the channels in Section 3. A closure notice will identify the applicable billing steps. Apple’s administration of a payment does not exclude obligations imposed directly on Auxerta by law.
