Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 28, 2026
Auxerta, Inc. (“Auxerta,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring that Argotu (the “Service”) is accessible to the broadest practicable population of Users, including persons with disabilities. This Accessibility Statement describes the technical standard against which we measure the Service, our current conformance status, the measures we have taken, the limitations of which we are presently aware, and the procedures by which a User may submit feedback or a formal complaint. This statement is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice or a warranty of conformance.
1Commitment to Accessibility
Auxerta endeavors to design, develop, and maintain the Service so that it may be perceived, operated, and understood by as many Users as reasonably practicable, including, without limitation, Users who rely upon keyboards, screen readers, screen magnification, voice-control software, or reduced-motion settings. We treat accessibility as an ongoing obligation rather than a single, fixed milestone, and we review and remediate the Service on a continuing basis as it evolves. Our objective is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the core functionality of the Service.
2Conformance Status & Standard
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for persons with disabilities. The Service is assessed against WCAG 2.1 at Level AA, which is the standard Auxerta has adopted as its accessibility target.
The Service is presently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In accordance with WCAG terminology, “partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. The core functionality of the Service — namely the reading, authoring, and publication of entries, the social actions (following, “keeps,” and “notes”), and primary navigation — is designed to be operable by keyboard and compatible with screen readers, while certain ancillary features remain under active remediation, as described in Section 5.
To the extent applicable to Auxerta, this statement is intended to support compliance with the accessibility obligations of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (the “ADA”) and, where relevant to particular Users or engagements, the standards published under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the European standard EN 301 549. Reference to these authorities does not constitute an admission that any particular authority governs the Service.
3Scope
This statement applies to the web-based interface of Argotu made available at the Service’s primary domain, including the reading, authoring, and social features described above and the publicly accessible informational and legal pages. The following are expressly outside the scope of this statement:
- third-party websites, services, or content to which the Service may link, which are governed by the accessibility practices of their respective operators;
- User-generated content (“Your Content”), the accessibility of which is determined by the authoring User and over which Auxerta does not exercise editorial control; and
- the embeddable text-effect widget and the typography “studio,” to the extent and for the reasons set forth in Section 5.
4Measures Taken
In furtherance of its accessibility commitment, Auxerta has implemented, among others, the following measures with respect to the core of the Service:
- Semantic structure. Use of semantic HTML and document landmarks so that structure and meaning are conveyed to assistive technologies.
- Keyboard operability. Keyboard operability of the core reading, authoring, and social workflows without reliance upon a pointing device.
- Visible focus. A visible focus indicator, so that the current point of keyboard interaction is perceivable.
- Reduced-motion support. Honoring both an in-application reduced-motion control and the operating-system “reduce motion” preference.
- Contrast-checked palette. A color palette evaluated for sufficient contrast against the Service’s background.
- Skip navigation. A skip-navigation link enabling keyboard Users to bypass repeated elements and proceed directly to the main content.
5Known Limitations & Exceptions
Notwithstanding the measures described above, Auxerta is aware of the following limitations. We disclose them in the interest of transparency and are actively remediating them:
- Typography “studio.” The typographic “studio” art tool currently has limited keyboard support; certain of its controls are more readily operable by a pointing device than by keyboard alone. Remediation of keyboard operability for this feature is in progress.
- Decorative motion. Certain decorative motion effects (including text and background effects) are present within the Service. This motion is mitigated by a reduced-motion control and by recognition of the operating-system reduced-motion preference; nevertheless, a limited number of decorative effects may persist.
- Undiscovered issues. Additional accessibility barriers may exist that have not yet been identified. Reports from Users who rely upon assistive technology are the most effective means by which such barriers are located and corrected, and we encourage Users to submit them in accordance with Section 6.
6Feedback Procedure & Contact
Auxerta welcomes feedback regarding the accessibility of the Service. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you require information presented in an alternative format, please contact us at contact@auxerta.com. To assist us in responding effectively, we ask that you describe, to the extent you are able:
- the task you were attempting to perform;
- the page, feature, or component involved (including any web address); and
- the assistive technology, browser, and operating system or settings you were using.
We endeavor to acknowledge accessibility feedback within a few business days of receipt and to work with you toward a resolution. While we cannot guarantee that every issue will be resolved within a fixed period, we will make reasonable efforts to address reported barriers in a timely manner.
7Formal Complaints & Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response to feedback submitted under Section 6, you may escalate the matter by submitting a formal complaint to contact@auxerta.com with the subject line “Formal Accessibility Complaint.” Your complaint should identify the barrier, summarize the prior correspondence, and state the resolution you seek. Auxerta will review the complaint and respond in writing. Nothing in this statement, and no part of the feedback or escalation procedure described herein, limits or waives any right or remedy that may be available to you under applicable law.
8Assessment Approach & Date
The conformance status set forth in this statement is based upon a self-assessment conducted by Auxerta of the Service against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This self-assessment has not been reviewed or certified by an independent third party. Auxerta reviews and updates this statement as remediation is performed and as its understanding of any remaining barriers changes; the “Last updated” date above reflects the date of the most recent review.
